Showing up in a potential customer’s Facebook news feed can be easier said than done. We’ve compiled a list of tips that can help you to be seen, enhance your interaction and improve your Facebook engagement.
1. Ask a Question
A simple way to get people engaged and commenting, which will cast your net wider. The more comments your post has, the more people that will be viewing it in their news feed. Interaction on a post increases it’s reach.
2.Keep it short
We know people’s time is extremely precious. As they scroll through their news feed you have seconds to make an impact. If the post is too long it will be scrolled straight past, keep it clear and to the point.
3.Give a clear Call-To-Action
What is the purpose of your post? Do you want to increase page likes on your Facebook page or click throughs to your website? Do you want to encourage customers to purchase, or to book an appointment? Having a purpose in mind for each of your posts with a clear call to action will help you to achieve these goals.
4. Offer some valuable information
Teach readers something they didn’t know before, or share something interesting. The same old posts they’ve seen before just won’t cut it.
5. Be Positive
What you write on Facebook is a reflection of your business’s values. Any negative remarks are an absolute no no for business pages. Keep it positive and always keep in mind how you want your business percieved in your posts.
6.Post an Image
There is so much to compete with on Facebook so make sure to include an image to catch attention and of course keep it related to your post. An image will get more likes, more comments and more click throughs than text based posts. Make your imagery attractive.
