Reflecting on 2020, the year that taught us so much.
This time last year we would never have believed it if we were told what was about to happen. That running a business remotely was not just a concept for the future, but a reality and a necessity to survive 2020.
Design Garage found the transition relatively smooth, working online was not a new concept for us. We were therefore in the fortunate position to help scaffold businesses into doing the same. We partnered with Venture Taranaki and donated our time to help businesses create websites, branding, digital strategies and marketing to allow them to run successfully online. We felt privileged to work alongside them through these unprecedented times. It was extremely tough for business owners which meant that every decision, every design, every step was all the more significant and meaningful.
